Vivienne Lyle D.C.D.Ac, Registered Chiropractor and Clinic Director
Vivienne founded the Back in Line clinic in Henley in 2000 and has built up a formidable reputation. A highly successful chiropractor for thirty years, she is incisive and intuitive, with a warm sense of humour. She was drawn to the profession early on; her father was a chiropractic pioneer in Sydney and an inspirational mentor. She studied advanced acupuncture in China, where she worked in a leading hospital. Returning to the UK to establish a chiropractic practice, she also presented postgraduate lectures for GPs at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. As well as running Back in Line, Vivienne provides chiropractic care for Microsoft, the multinational corporation.
Jean-Pierre Bruyere, D.C. Registered Chiropractor
Jean-Pierre trained in the United States and spent many years on the international tennis circuit, working with Andy Murray and as resident chiropractor at the Lawn Tennis Association. He continues to work with international and Olympic athletes, specialising in performance and rehabilitation, however he is passionate about bringing the highest level of care to ordinary people. High profile roles include a spell, treating stars on ITV’s Saturday night spectacular ‘Dancing on Ice’. He and Vivienne have been colleagues for many years and their mutual compassion and commitment to giving patients the best, makes for a dynamic professional partnership.
Amy Crerar, D.C. MChiro. Registered Chiropractor
Amy specialises in the treatment of children. So many junior patients present with so-called growing pains, a complete misnomer! Pain is usually a sign there is something wrong, because growing is not a painful process. If the spine is out of alignment or the feet have fallen arches, the body compensates causing abnormal stresses on bones and tendons, therefore when put under pressure during sporting activities pain is experienced. This can create chronic problems without early intervention.
Her second love is in treating equestrian injuries. As an Eventer herself, she knows how important it is to develop the right balance, seat and posture. Even the smallest muscle or skeletal imbalances can affect rider and horse and can prevent achieving their best performance.
Suzanne Fogden Dip LSSM
Suzanne is a highly trained Pilates instructor and sports massage therapist. She works to repair muscle tears and tensions which helps to rebalance the body after injury. She provides a tailored programme for rehabilitation exercises after consultation and treatment with the chiropractors. Pilates exercise builds a strong muscular core to prevent re- injury.
