It can be a treatment on its own but we often recommend it in tandem with chiropractic treatment, as we have found our patients’ recovery to be considerably faster.

Sports massage is an extremely effective form of massage therapy that highlights particularly tight or fibrous areas within muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Who can benefit?

Sports massage can benefit anyone, not just those who are involved in sport! It's just as effective for athletes as it is for indiviuals with general aches and pains. The benefits of massage can aid anyone suffering with occupational, emotional and postural stress as well as those with physically demanding jobs that can lead to muscle imbalances. Poor posture whilst sitting at a desk for example may cause muscle imbalances.
